What even is the Super Monday Off Coalition?
The Super Monday Off Coalition is a 501(c)(4) dedicated to making the Monday after the Big Game a national holiday. With the goal of achieving this mission, we are focused on advocating for a Super Monday Off with elected officials, generating awareness of this issue and its economic impact, and garnering widespread support from football fans across the country. At the Super Monday Off Coalition, we believe that making the Monday after the Big Game an official holiday will have a positive economic, social, and cultural impact.

More than 22 million Americans planned to miss work the day after 2025’s Big Game, 13 million said they would arrive to work late that day, and still 8 million more said they would make a game-time decision about attending work.

This widespread sluggishness translates to real economic loss. Absenteeism and lost productivity the day after the Big Game cost American businesses an estimated $3 billion.
The Smart Solution.
Converting unplanned lost productivity into a planned holiday investment (or simply moving the Big Game to coincide with President’s Day) allows businesses to proactively work around a known day off, mitigating the economic loss.
